Aubigny was a favoured burial place for the deceased from Montsaugeon, who were entrusted to the protection of Saint Symphorien by the brotherhood of Saint Nicolas. They rest there so peacefully among the hundred-year-old lime trees that today walkers come here all year round; they can stop off near the beautiful statues in the notaries' cemetery backing onto the church, quiet and full of charm. This lovely walk in the shade of the trees will take you to the panoramic view overlooking the Montsaugeonnais vineyards.
