Rebuilt in 1777, the château retains some vestiges of the 13th-century fortress, including a Louis XV-style wrought-iron gate framed by two stone jambs topped with fire pots. The entire château (entrance gate with its gate; retaining wall of the terrace; facades and roofs of the small pavilion to the south of the gate; small bridge in the park above the pedestrian walkway) has been listed in the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques since 26 August 1988.
