The château features a gated entrance, a chapel and numerous rooms decorated with woodwork and stucco by Italian artists. This 12th-century building was restored in 1758 for Heudelot de Lettancourt. The château has belonged to several families: Potier de Pommeroy, Count, Mayor of Percey, Senator and Member of Parliament for Haute-Marne from 1843 to 1848; and the de Serrigny family, whose General Bernard de Serrigny was Chief of Staff to Marshal Pétain during the First World War.
The facades and roofs of the château and the outbuildings, the entrance gate and its gates, the following rooms with their decorations-dining room, small lounge and chapel-have been listed on the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques since 28 July 1975; the entire interior of the dwelling, the entire park, including the boundary walls, the entrance to the outbuildings, the chalet and the walls of the kitchen garden have been listed on the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques since 24 August 2005.
