Maison de Montrol owes its name to a family of deputies and magistrates from the Haute-Marne department. After remaining the property of this family for generations, it became municipal property. Since 1965, it has been home to a rural family home. The entrance gate and the facades and roofs of the two gatehouse towers are listed historic monuments.
