This neoclassical residence was built in 1780 for the Caroillon family. Originally, the Chapter of Langres owned a paper mill here, which bore the seal of Saint-Mammès. The facades and roofs of the château, the cross-vaulted ground floor and the 18th-century wooden staircase, the two circular pavilions (facade, roof and central fireplace) and the facades and roofs of the two farm buildings framing the entrance courtyard have been listed on the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques since 25 April 1990.
