Built at the end of the 17th century on the ruins of an ancient fortified castle, the château stands on a promontory overlooking the village. The estate passed through the hands of various local families, including Jacques-Marie de Froment, the last lord, who was born in Fayl Billot in 1740. The commune became the owner of the château in 1945. The château now houses the school and the town hall.
Not open to visitors: private site only visible from the outside.
