Dedicated to Sainte Germaine, this small neo-Gothic chapel topped by a bell tower was built in 1854 on the "Frillouse" hill overlooking the village. From here, a panoramic view of the village in its green setting unfolds gracefully.
Its history goes back to the cholera epidemic that spared the population of Vicq. Faced with the danger, the village priest, Mr Raby, organised three solemn processions to pray to Mary, bringing together the faithful of the parish and the civil authorities. Noting that the village had been relatively spared compared to the other villages in the canton, he proposed erecting a monument of gratitude. Subscriptions were taken from the local population and the chapel was built and dedicated to Blessed Germaine Cousin, a young shepherdess from the diocese of Toulouse, who had just been beatified by the Pope.
