Chapelle Saint-Germain de Grenant

Chapelle Saint-Germain de Grenant

Close to the old Roman road and rising above Mont Rochotte at 318m, stands the small chapel of Saint Germain. The original chapel, in a very poor state of repair, was rebuilt in 1938. It is said that the Saint passed through here and left his footprints in the rock. Until 1840, children who died without receiving the sacrament of baptism were buried behind this building.
