Situated on the edge of the ancient Roman road from Langres to Autun and already attested to around the year 1000, this chapel bordering the cemetery was destroyed during the Revolution and rebuilt in 1832. Ruined again in 1866, it was immediately rebuilt thanks to the generosity of the local population and the parish priest of Aujeurres, and was blessed in 1868. The architect Henner, who designed it in the neo-Gothic style then in vogue, added an elegant bell tower and had the legend of St George on horseback slaying the dragon depicted on the tympanum of the door.
