The chapel of Notre-Dame-de-la-Reconnaissance was built in 1855 by the people of Laneuvelle, in thanksgiving for their deliverance from the cholera epidemic of 1854. It was consecrated in September 1856, as recalled by the inscription engraved on the two door jambs. It features murals (ex-voto for Télémaque's deliverance from cholera, ex-voto for the 1870-71 war).
