- Level access
- Beach mat
- Disabled WC less than 100m away

- Two "Tiralos", amphibious wheelchairs designed for people with disabilities, are available on the beach of Lac de Charmes. You'll find them next to the lifeguard's chair. Ask to use them to the beach lifeguard, recognisable by his red T-shirt and cap.
The "Tiralo" is available exclusively to people with reduced mobility or disabilities who have a companion who will go into the water with them. The Tiralo is not a recreational device for the general public, but a wheelchair reserved for bathing people with disabilities. It is used under the responsibility of the user and the accompanying person(s). The beach lifeguard cannot take the place of the accompanying person, but is on duty to supervise the bathing area.
The "Tiralo" can only be used in the designated bathing area. The carer must always be on foot to check the stability of the bathing chair. It is advisable not to stray more than a few metres from the shore. If the Tiralo is used improperly or unreasonably, the lifeguard has the authority to stop it being used. The "Tiralo" is not a boat but a swimming aid. It must be used under the responsibility of an accompanying person.
It is compulsory to wear a lifejacket (provided by the lifeguard).
Safety instructions :
Swimming is only permitted within the bathing perimeters marked by water lines and the red and yellow flags.
Only the presence of a flag on the beach mast indicates the presence of a lifeguard and the swimming conditions:
- green flag: supervised swimming with no apparent danger
- yellow flag: supervised swimming with limited or marked danger
- red flag: swimming prohibited
- no flag: bathing not supervised; the public swim at their own risk.
The presence of a lifeguard does not exclude the responsibility of everyone and the responsibility of parents towards their children.
If there is no flag, the public swims at their own risk.
Users must comply with the rules laid down by the municipal by-laws of the municipalities concerned.
