The Natur'ailes Association was founded in 20O8 in Varennes sur Amance, a small village with a breathtaking view over the unspoilt Amance valley.
Its primary aim is to raise public awareness of the environment, the riches of nature, practices that respect our biodiversity, and the exchange and transmission of knowledge and skills in rural areas.
The Association organises various activities throughout the year for individuals, young and old. It also welcomes various groups on specific request in connection with the themes proposed.
These workshops are run by professionals and cover a wide range of topics: plant knowledge (wild and garden plants, edible, medicinal and aromatic plants), healthy eating education, discovery of skills linked to specific local features, history, geography, etc., wellbeing workshops, cultural events linked to farming life past and present, artistic practices, garden art, etc.
The Natur'ailes garden remains a poetic and bucolic space for meeting, sharing and experimenting, as well as a venue for various events.
A few years ago, Natur'ailes set up a seed bank for garden lovers, containing seeds from local varieties of vegetables, herbs and flowers: La grainothèque.
