All the species of trees and shrubs that grow spontaneously in our region (let's say in the National Forest Park area) are planted on a 5000 m² plot of land, a total of around 130 species. A number of other species that grow on the French plains (temperate European climate), or even in the mountains or in the Mediterranean region, have also been planted here, as well as more or less rare species from the American and Asian continents. There are now 400 woody species that can be seen in this arboretum, with the following genera particularly well represented: Acer (Maples), Abies (Firs), Picea (Spruces), Pinus (Pines), Quercus (Oaks), Sorbus (Alisiers and Sorbiers), etc. Some of the trees are labelled, and the visit is free. Most of them are still small, but this gives you the advantage of seeing them up close (foliage, bark, and soon flowers and fruit).
Access to the arboretum is free, but you can also arrange a guided tour with the owner.
