Ancienne fontaine de Tornay

Ancienne fontaine de Tornay

  • photo

In the past, water was collected in this open, house-shaped structure covered in ashlar, probably from the Charmiron or Futtes quarries. Built in the first half of the 19th century, this type of small building was sometimes topped at the ridge by a stone cross. The water then flowed into the now-closed washhouse next to the fountain.

Free access all year round.
