This vast building housed the 74 rooms intended for the diocese's future priests during their training. Situated on a plot of land extending as far as the parapet walk, this dwelling opened onto a vast garden. Its façade on the street features a central forebuilding, originally flanked by a passageway that spanned the street and linked the building to the chapel. As can still be seen on part of the façade, dormer windows topped with triangular pediments interrupted the cornice at regular intervals.
