La côte de Vouécourt - PR N°50

A lovely loop through nature, canal and forest:
From the Vouécourt campsite, take the whole family on a 9 km (approx. 2.5 hrs) bucolic, accessible and rejuvenating walk. The route starts by passing in front of the church, crosses the Marne and the canal "between Champagne and Burgundy", then climbs gently to the wooded heights of the Côte. After a climb under the maple trees, the walk offers fine views over the Marne valley. The paths alternate between forests, fields and white tracks, perfect for getting away from it all. The return journey follows the peaceful canal, lined with impressive engineering structures. If you're lucky, you'll come across a few birds or discover traces of the old blacksmiths who brought life to the region in the 19th century. It's a lovely walk to share a simple moment, between heritage and open landscapes.
