A gentle loop between river, forest and valleys in Villiers-sur-Suize :
Starting from the Place de la Fontaine in Villiers-sur-Suize, this 8km trail takes you on a pleasant family walk through rural heritage, living forest and open vistas. The trail first runs alongside the River Suize, where you'll discover an old mill, a wash-house and a fountain, before climbing gently to the heights of the village. The view over the valley is splendid, perfect for a photo break or a moment of contemplation. From here, the path leads deep into the undergrowth, where beech, oak and wild cherry trees mingle with undergrowth flowers, depending on the season. Deer, roe deer and foxes can leave their tracks here! The return journey takes you through fields and forest edges to the village. Marked out in green and yellow, this 2-hour walk is ideal for an accessible nature outing, combining discovery, relaxation and immersion in the forests of the Suize valley.
