Les grandes Charmes - PR N° 57

A sporty, varied trail through vineyards, woods and heritage sites:
A 16 km route ideal for hardened walkers looking for effort and discovery. The Grandes Charmes trail, starting in Vaux-sous-Aubigny, offers 16km of effort through rolling countryside, deep forests and unspoilt heritage. After warming up in the village streets, you climb towards the Muid Montsaugeonnais vineyards and the church of Saint-Symphorien, offering superb views over the Langres region. The route then links ridge paths, forest crossings and passages through damp valleys, with some good gradients to keep up the pace. Passing by the Saint-Eloi fountain and the Bois du Défois adds a touch of freshness and mystery to the route. Perfect for a well-paced 4-hour outing, this loop is also suitable for mountain biking or horse riding. What you need: good shoes, a steady pace... and why not stop off for a tasting session on the way back!
