A bucolic and panoramic walk in Pont-la-Ville :
This 9km loop starts from the Place du Dr Buzoni in Pont-la-Ville and is perfect for a family outing in the fresh air. The lavoirs trail runs peacefully alongside a branch of the Aujon before rising towards the Petite Forêt, passing through hedgerows, clearings and sunken lanes lined with lily of the valley in spring. Along the way, the lucky ones may spot roe deer in the wooded hillsides. The route offers superb views of the Marmesse ponds, the Aujon valley, the Arc-en-Barrois forest and, in the distance, the Colombey-les-Deux-Églises Memorial. The descent to the village takes you along a pleasant shady path that leads into the quiet lanes of Pont-la-Ville. This gentle walk (around 2? hours) will delight young and old alike, with its unspoilt countryside, open landscapes and charming rural heritage.
