Bel air - PR N°46

A varied loop through woods, fields and views of Mareilles:
This 12km circuit from Mareilles offers a complete and accessible walk, ideal for regular walkers in search of fresh air and open countryside. Marked out in green and yellow, the route first follows the path of the Fontaine de Vrannes before branching off onto forest paths and farm tracks in the direction of Bourdons-sur-Rognon. After a passage through the forest, punctuated by beautiful sections of pine woodland and undergrowth, the path crosses an area where Merovingian sarcophagi were discovered. A gentle descent leads to the Orgères farm, before a return over the ridge offering a fine view of the village. A succession of environments punctuate this loop: crops, clearings, copses and beehives. A 3-hour walk, this well-marked trail is as attractive for its diversity as it is for its peaceful atmosphere, with its discreet heritage and unspoilt nature.
