Situated in the discreet valley of the Blaiseron, a tributary of the Blaise, between Cirey and Gudmont, the charming little village of Leschères-sur-le-Blaiseron could go unnoticed. Yet it has preserved an interesting heritage of buildings and plants. These include the former château of Nicolas de Ségur (1716-1787), viscount of Cabanac and distant relative of the Countess de Ségur (1799-1874), the famous author of children's stories, and the remarkable line of 16 hundred-year-old chestnut trees along the stream that runs through the village.
Starting from the Place de la Mairie, this trail invites you to discover the history and heritage of Leschères-sur-le-Blaiseron, which is relatively well documented for the 19th century.
