On 6 July 2017, the Grande Boucle passed through Haute-Marne for the 6th stage, which linked Vesoul to Troyes over 216km.
Sprint purists will have appreciated the scenario dictated by the best specialists on this flat stage. By crossing the Langres plateau and then passing through Colombey-les-Deux-Églises, the pursuit of the breakaway riders was planned. It was then that the "trains" were deployed, with tracks to suit them on the wide avenues in the centre of Troyes.
For a stage that is 100% Haute-Marne, we suggest you start from Fayl-Billot.
The route is then reduced to 90 km with a total ascent of 700 m.
