A scenic walk for all the family:
This pretty 8.5 km loop, starting from the village hall in Euffigneix, is perfect for a family nature outing. A 2h to 3h walk along the signposted path (blue/yellow) takes you through beautiful countryside, quiet forests and uninterrupted views over the Marne and Suize valleys. After a gentle climb to higher ground, a superb panorama opens up over the village and its church nestling in the hills. The route crosses fields and woods, skirting peaceful lanes and even taking in an old wash-house. Accessible, varied and rejuvenating, this walk also offers a nod to local history with the discovery of the Gallic statuette of the god of Euffigneix, found not far from the village. It's an ideal way to get some fresh air, take a stroll and share a simple, pleasant moment in the heart of nature.
