Les Épinées - PR N°102

A gentle forest getaway starting in Bourbonne-les-Bains:
Starting from the Place des Bains, take the whole family on an 11km nature trail (approx. 3 hours) through the peaceful forests surrounding Bourbonne-les-Bains. The trail first follows the GR7, then enters the Bois des Épinées via the pleasant allée des Sapins. This shady path, lined with large coniferous trees and a two-hundred-year-old oak, is an invitation to take it easy. There's a picnic area where you can take a break before continuing along the grassy paths through the forest. Along the way, you'll come across an old water collection point and a small footbridge, and enjoy the calm atmosphere of clearings and undergrowth. The well-marked route is also accessible by mountain bike or on horseback, and can be shortened as you wish. It's the perfect way to get some fresh air, walk at your own pace and discover the natural wealth of the Grands Bois and Bois des Epinées forests in Bourbonne-les-Bains.
