To book

On this walk along the east side, the ramparts of the former stronghold reveal their emblematic structures, history, juicy anecdotes and well-hidden treasures... The route takes you from the Saint-Ferjeux tower, the first of Langres' artillery towers, to the medieval-style Henri IV gateway, then to the former Bishop's Guard House, suspended above the void. The tour ends at the Tour Piquante bastion, offering a remarkable panorama of the Marne valley. Along the way, you'll have the privilege of discovering the Gallo-Roman cells, preserved in the shadow of the town wall, and climbing the old rack railway, a nod to the town's railway past.
