A true architectural gem in the heart of Chaumont, the Jesuit Chapel tells its story through its vaults, stones and sculpted details. Formerly the chapel of the Jesuit college, it captivates visitors with its classical and Baroque architecture, as well as its spectacular chancel altarpiece – a masterpiece of gilded and carved stone created in 1712.
The exhibition
Through the materials he collects and the landscapes he explores, Guillaume de la Follye de Joux reveals the traces of the transformations of living things. With his exhibition *Aires Roncifères*, on display at the Jesuit Chapel from 8 September to 22 November, the artist invites the public to take a fresh look at agricultural landscapes and the stories they conceal.
