Step back in time as you stroll through the streets of the town: walk along the Quai des Peceaux where a tower from the medieval ramparts still stands, admire the restored timber-framed houses and town houses that bear the traces of an opulent Renaissance under the impetus of the powerful Guise family. For the past decade, the town of Joinville has been restoring its heritage, revealing more and more of it.
At the end of the tour, a tasting of local produce will be offered in the sumptuous setting of the Château du Grand Jardin.
