Two hearts, one story
*A Life Together* follows two characters, from the first note to the last. Nineteen chapters take us through a relationship over time, with its moments of passion, its silences and its transformations. At each stage, a slam poem opens the narrative, setting the tone, before the emotion unfolds through words and music.
On stage, Govrache and Buridane blend their voices around a piano. It is neither quite a concert, nor quite theatre, nor merely a musical reading, but a hybrid form where narrative, song and poetry intersect. The show takes the time to observe these two nameless, faceless characters as they live their lives, and to give voice to what binds them together as time goes by.
