A true musical journey across the continents, the show follows in the footsteps of two iconic instruments that have travelled the world, playing a key role in the spread and fusion of musical styles throughout their travels.
We’ll introduce you to our instruments, test your musical knowledge, tell you what, when and where to clap your hands, and sing… And above all, we’ll play music that tells a story.
Behind the Musique Acoustique Machine company lies the close-knit duo of Viviane Arnoux and François Michaud. These two outstanding musicians have explored every facet of their instruments through world music.
Their album and show, &Fusion, is the result of numerous journeys, human encounters and a deep desire to create music at the crossroads of continents. Internationally recognised, they tour the world with the Alliances Françaises (South America, Africa, the Middle East) and have collaborated with renowned artists such as Ray Lema, Les Voies Bulgares, Abed Azrié, Les Orientales, I Muvrini, Kekele, Omar Pene, Jody Swift and Hugues Aufray.
This educational and captivating concert is specially designed for primary and secondary school pupils, as well as the general public.
