For the past twenty years, Lazare has been writing about and around one figure: his mother.

From this personal story emerged a trilogy set between France and Algeria, brought to life by the actors and encounters that have shaped his theatre. Today, he looks back on this journey with those who have been part of it. On stage, Anne Baudoux and Mourad Musset re-enact, reinterpret and question this journey, navigating between memories, fiction and the present. Then the mother appears on screen. She no longer merely recounts her story: she becomes an actress in her own story.

Blurring the boundaries between theatre, music and projected images, the production creates a dialogue between reality and fiction.
