The Paris Mozart Orchestra regularly tackles challenging and innovative programmes. This concert is a case in point: two distinct parts, featuring two composers, Johannes Brahms and Antonín Dvořák, and two female conductors, Claire Gibault and Beatriz Fernández Aucejo. Their programme consists of a selection of Hungarian Dances, which cemented Brahms’s fame, followed by the pièce de résistance that takes us across the Atlantic: Dvořák’s famous ‘New World’ Symphony.
