Forget about the book you’re reading quietly. Here, we’re talking about so much more: genuine interactive experiences, little paper spectacles that fill you with wonder with every turn of the page. It’s a world where the story literally steps out of the pages to captivate you.
Old, fragile and precious, some pop-up books lie hidden away in the drawers of the stacks. From a little theatre to bring to life, to Harry’s secret path to recreate, from an old farm with all its animals to a disarticulated skeleton to explore, these pop-ups will be on display for the very first time – and, from reading to play, there’ll be something to amaze everyone.
