Thousands of second-hand books, classified by theme (novels, history, art, detective stories, comics, children's books, essays, cookery, travel, etc.) are on sale to the public in aid of Amnesty International.
Admission is free, and the price of the books is set by the volunteers according to the condition of the book, with a sliding scale depending on the number of copies. Stock is replenished by donations over the weekend.
The sale runs continuously over the two days.
