Workshops with Magali Attiogbé
Illustrator Magali Attiogbé will be doing us the honour of leading workshops for the general public on the theme of Africa, as part of Partir en Livre, the major celebration of children's literature in France!
Magali Attiogbé was born in Togo in the 1980s. A graduate of the École Estienne, she loves exploring techniques and subjects, and has worked on media as varied as posters, books, the press, postcards, crockery, wallpaper, toys, lorries, etc. Alongside her work as an illustrator, she also sews and sings, sometimes both at the same time.
With the support of the Centre National du Livre
The workshop will explore the technique of paper-cutting and the creation of motifs, inspired by the way the illustrator works.
We'll be creating an accordion-style imagier from animal silhouettes from all over the world.
