Presentation by le Signe: "Un Voyage illustré en Ukraine" is a window onto Ukrainian graphic design from the 1990s to the present day. It presents a committed yet vibrant and poetic collection by the Pictoric illustrators' collective from Kyiv. Built up since 2023, the collection reflects the fragility of everyday life under the constant threat of war and Russian invasion.
This look at current events in the resilient and creative Ukraine is complemented by posters by Ukrainian designers from the 1990s to the present day, from the Town of Chaumont's poster collection, as well as a selection of the finest books on loan from the Book Arsenal Festival.
This exhibition is part of the Season of Ukraine in France organised by the French Institute and the Ukrainian Institute, with the support of the French and Ukrainian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture. Through this major event across the country, France and Ukraine are joining forces to make the voice of Ukrainian society heard.
