The Chaumont Conservatory of Music and Theatre is not just about classes. It's also a place to meet, exchange ideas and discover new things, open to everyone.
Throughout the year, it offers a rich and varied programme that showcases the work of students and teachers, while inviting the public to share convivial moments around the performing arts.
It's a great opportunity for the public and the Conservatoire's teachers to meet over a cup of coffee or tea. Then they give way to the artists they are, revealing a little more of their art to us, with a morning concert full of good humour and conviviality. It's a window into the possibility of playing differently, together, a kind of declaration of love for music, for life, for sharing.
Away from the big, saturated sound, with amps cranked up all the way, come and discover a slightly more subdued version of today's music. It's a chance to hear new interpretations of works by big names like Radiohead and Miles Davis, played on (mainly) acoustic instruments.
With Hugo Joly, Jean-Paul Thièrion (electric guitar), Guillaume Deveney (electric bass) and Raphaël Leprêtre (drums and percussion).
