No more brass band! The seven members of SopaLoca, fed up with their working conditions as a street band, decide to change career plans: they’re giving up the brass band to go into films and become stars! The performance turns into a film shoot where the artists play every role – heroes, villains, obscure supporting characters – as well as director, cinematographer and lighting technician…
The scenes unfold one after another, accompanied by an original soundtrack played live, and you find yourself getting caught up in the moment: perhaps a major production company will spot them? After all, George Clooney probably can’t play the saxophone either… Drama or comedy? Blockbuster or socially conscious film? Adventure, romance, action? With the energy of a repertoire of Latin American music (cumbia, salsa, mambo, etc.) blended with other styles (classical, rock, hip-hop, etc.), SopaLoca offers a feast for the ears and eyes in this show that invites you to play, overact and dance!
