ARPL 2026 - Vinophilo

To book

By Brice de Beaudrap

Adults › Duration: 30 mins › Booking essential

At aperitif time, let’s talk philosophy with a glass in hand! Join Brice de Beaudrap, creator of the VinoPhilo concept, as we learn to savour thought. Wisdom is meant to be savoured and relished. Wine then becomes a sensitive guide for our minds, and conviviality is the perfect way to experience it. Drawing on 2,500 years of the history of ideas, wine uses analogy and metaphor to illustrate the wisdom of humanity’s great thinkers, offering a warm and meaningful experience.

Brice de Beaudrap is a teacher, author and lecturer. A PhD student in philosophy at the University of Grenoble Alpes, his research focuses on the epistemology of artificial intelligence and the trust that can be placed in scientific instruments. He currently teaches philosophy at undergraduate level in Paris.
Trained as an actor, he developed a desire to bring philosophy to as many people as possible by creating VinoPhilo, a series of philosophy talks enjoyed with a glass of wine in hand.
