Moderator: Hugo Meyer
Suitable for all ages › Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes › No booking required
How can we make philosophical content accessible and engaging? How can we spark the interest of younger generations? What tools can we use to bring philosophical inquiry back into the spotlight? A round-table discussion to discover mediators, writers, content creators and inventive educators who are making philosophy popular.
The round-table discussion will be followed by a book-signing session.
Brice de Beaudrap is a teacher, author and lecturer. A PhD student in philosophy at the University of Grenoble Alpes, his research focuses on the epistemology of artificial intelligence and the trust that can be placed in scientific instruments. He currently teaches philosophy at undergraduate level in Paris.
Trained as an actor, he developed a desire to share philosophy with as many people as possible by creating VinoPhilo, a series of philosophy talks enjoyed with a glass of wine in hand.
YouTuber and TikTok creator Lev Fraenckel, alias Serial Thinker, uses social media to revitalise philosophy and rekindle a taste for reflection. Currently on leave from his post as a philosophy teacher, he is committed to making his subject accessible to everyone. In 2022, he set himself the challenge of summarising every concept in the philosophy syllabus in three minutes. He now has nearly 300,000 subscribers. His first book, *La Philo en mode serial thinker* (Hachette pratique, 2023), was a huge success.
