To be or not to be hip-hop, that is the question! If that only conjures up images of young people in tracksuit bottoms doing headstands, you’re in for a crash course! Ingrid Chasseur, a slightly snobbish lecturer, draws on the chance presence of two dancers to reveal the origins and evolution of this culture: music, graffiti and, above all, dance. Soon, the question of appearances arises: is hip-hop a look, an attitude, or a philosophy?

In the form of a funny and playful (real-fake) lecture, *Hip Hop(s) or Not?*
#Remix explores what it means to ‘become one with’ a given culture. Challenging rigid definitions, the show invites us to view the body as a space for interpretation, shaped by codes without being reducible to them. Through movement, the body escapes analysis to become experience. Ultimately, it reveals itself to be a place of transition and transformation, where the boundaries between identity, the gaze of others and the freedom to invent are constantly being replayed.
