Discovery tour

The town was protected by ramparts until the 17th century. Today, terraced gardens, meadows and orchards stand on their remains.
As you stroll through the town, you'll see many facades that bear witness to the past opulence of this Petite Cité de Caractère®. The Renaissance house, with its gargoyles and ornamentation, belonged to the Attorney General of Lorraine. The Annonciades convent boasts an elegant façade in a style typical of southern Lorraine. On its rocky spur, the collegiate church of Notre-Dame stands like a watchtower overlooking the Meuse valley. Climb up to admire the panoramic view over the surrounding countryside.

The Parc des Roches

The Parc des Roches is a romantic setting combining the charm of stone with the wildness of nature. False ruins built at the foot of a cliff overlook the Meuse valley. From arches to footbridges, you can walk among the venerable trees of this park, which has been classified as a "Remarkable Garden" and is also a rock-climbing site. The Côna promenade and the Saint Roch path

Your walk begins on the Promenade du Côna, a majestic avenue of lime trees planted at the end of the 18th century and offering beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. To continue, follow the Saint-Roch path through the Bourmont forest. The scenery is superb. You're sure to spot roe deer, and you may come across a few cyclists.
